We are new owner of this nails salon since April 2012. St. Spa & Nails, which is a full service nail salon complete with new massage and pedicure chairs and waxing stations, has a new management for more than one month. We provide Spa Manicure and Pedicure ($32), Full Set ($22), Manicure Shellac ($25), Pink & White ($40),U.V. Gel Full Set ($35), Waxing, Eyelashes, and special Gel Full Set White Tip ($30). We are located in Kiln Creek Center and neighbors businesses such as County Grill and Smokehouse, Vintner's Cellar Winery, A Place 4 Pets, Custom Images Photos, Chanello’s Pizza, Paisano’s Pizza, Tabb Tobacco, and Seafood. It’s just less than 1 mile from I-64, exit 258B (Yorktown), first stop light from Yorktown/Newport News city limit. We offer 10% discount for Military, Federal Employees, Student (under 22 year old), and Newport News Shipbuilding employees.

Inferior Products - Buyer BEWARE

I have been going to this salon for over a year. Jennifer, the owner is very professional, a good nail tech and the shop is clean. When she became pregnant she no longer came in, turning it over to her brother.

Recently my daughter had problems with her gel nails turning yellow but always went back and paid to have them done again. On one occasion the brother told her that Jennifer was so lazy she didn't want to come in and laid around her house all day doing nothing.

On Friday, I paid $73.00 for a custom manicure and pedicure but on Monday, the color had turned a different color completely. After arguing with the brother who professed to see no difference, I demanded my money back . He only refunded $12.00. To be fair, he did offer to redo my nails in another color but I did not have the two hours available to take advantage of that with possibly the same result. I told him that neither my daughter or I would be coming back. He in turn told me that they didn't need customers like me.

Apparently, in Jennifer's absence, the. customer service level has fallen and the shop could use a good cleaning.

I researched the reason for the color change of the gel polish and learned that sun or tanning can turn the color yellow (neither of which I do). The main reason for the yellowing is using low quality polish and sealers.

I have learned my lesson and will no longer go to discount salons such as this where they accept no responsibility for their inferior products. I hope Jennifer has a business left when she returns to her shop.

Satisfied, Ms. Shining

St. Spa & Nails is just heavenly, Good customer service, location is perfect, Technicians go out their way to ensure your satisfied. Jennifer is a superb nail technician & Bea is a excellent pedicure technician. I recommend this spa anyday to friends, family, and coworkers. Check it out, you will definitely be pleased!!!!

Wonderful spa...can't say enough good things!

I feel very fortunate to have discovered this wonderful salon two months ago when the new owner/manager Jennifer reopened. All of the staff are so kind and do an amazing job. It is super clean and they are meticulous with hygiene (this ocd nurse's dream). The Spa pedicure is fabulously-my toesies always look great. It's tucked away in a little corner next to County Grill on Rt. 17. Highly recommend St. Spa!

With the new management taking over things are much better. I have been coming here for five months and the service is excellent. Jennifer and her team take good care of each customer that walks through the door. They make each experience personal and fun. I get pedicures and gel sets regularly and love the end results because of their attention to detail. If you are trying to find a nail shop...
