I have been going to this salon for over a year. Jennifer, the owner is very professional, a good nail tech and the shop is clean. When she became pregnant she no longer came in, turning it over to her brother.
Recently my daughter had problems with her gel nails turning yellow but always went back and paid to have them done again. On one occasion the brother told her that Jennifer was so lazy she didn't want to come in and laid around her house all day doing nothing.
On Friday, I paid $73.00 for a custom manicure and pedicure but on Monday, the color had turned a different color completely. After arguing with the brother who professed to see no difference, I demanded my money back . He only refunded $12.00. To be fair, he did offer to redo my nails in another color but I did not have the two hours available to take advantage of that with possibly the same result. I told him that neither my daughter or I would be coming back. He in turn told me that they didn't need customers like me.
Apparently, in Jennifer's absence, the. customer service level has fallen and the shop could use a good cleaning.
I researched the reason for the color change of the gel polish and learned that sun or tanning can turn the color yellow (neither of which I do). The main reason for the yellowing is using low quality polish and sealers.
I have learned my lesson and will no longer go to discount salons such as this where they accept no responsibility for their inferior products. I hope Jennifer has a business left when she returns to her shop.

I feel very fortunate to have discovered this wonderful salon two months ago when the new owner/manager Jennifer reopened. All of the staff are so kind and do an amazing job. It is super clean and they are meticulous with hygiene (this ocd nurse's dream). The Spa pedicure is fabulously-my toesies always look great. It's tucked away in a little corner next to County Grill on Rt. 17. Highly recommend St. Spa!

St spa is now under new owner since april 2012 and it is a great place, me and my mom go there and it is always fast and always good work. I would recommend this nail salon to everyone to try you will love it. The new owner always takes her time and puts alot of effort into her work. I would never go anywhere else.

I've gone to several local shops and had some very bad experiences. Sometimes what asked for was not given to me or I walked out satisfied, but within a few days to a weeks time, very disappointed. I have found this local shop to exceed my expectations. The customer service and setting is welcoming from the time you walk in....... this is a must go to..
This nails salon is great! They are so personable and I get perfect looking nails each time. Also I can get in and out without waiting much time. The new owner, Jennifer, and her employees are very experience, professional, friendly and creative with their services, especially with the Gel full set white tip, pink & white, shellac, and waxing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hygienic nail salon. Don't look elsewhere. Important to note: schedule your appointment ahead of time.
the shop is under new management since approx july 2011 and it is TERRIBLE!!! i had been going to this shop for years and my nails were perfect. new owner/ tech offered to do my nails (told me my previous tech was off that day. found out later she had actually moved to another shop). my acrylic gel nails were not given the proper amount of time to set, they LIFTED (which has never happened before), were lumpy ANDd were more expensive. DON"T go here. a blind monkey could do a better job on your nails. HORRIBLE! i mean the absolute WORST!!!! I would give them minus 20 stars if i could. Can't believe i even have to give them a minimum rating of 1!!!

I can say that I have been a valued customer of the owners for 5 years. I live in Hampton(Wythe area) and it is worth the drive for great service.
