Not what we were expecting

Let me start by saying I am not giving this place a bad review, it is just not what we expected. This was our first "family" camping trip. I researched a few places. This seemed like the perfect place. A little bit of everything for everyone. They had activities for the kids, a store in case we forgot things, fishing,...

Best Campground

The staff at Jelly stone is top notch. We have been camping with them for 4years now. The camp ground is very clean well maintained. Everyone there is friendly from the staff to the people living there regularly. They made you feel like your at home. The staff goes out of there way to make your staff the best.

Our family loves staying here

We have a family of 5. Our children are 12, 9, and 6. We have stayed here 3 times and plan on going lots more. There are lots of activities to keep the kids busy. The staff are all very friendly and are able to help out in anyway. Yogi, Boo Boo and Cindy are always around and very friendly....

When I was a kid

This isn't really much of a review, I'm writing because my family use to live on the old campground years ago before it became Yogi Bear. And, I remember playing with your daughter, Ariel, I believe when we were kids. I just wanted to see how the family was doing, and I see the campsite is doing great. Boy, do...

We booked this Jellystone after having to cancel our Jellystone Luray Va trip. What a pleasant surprise!
Very clean spacious campground. Friendly staff. Plenty of family activities. Jumping pillow. Well equipped playground. Bathhouse was newly renovated along with a good laundry room. They are clearly making improvements! We had a great stay.
One suggestion. Illuminate your sign. It is an...

good family campground

We booked expecting a riverfront campground. Actually, the amount of frontage on the Severn River is small, and the waterfront campsites such as ours are not on the river itself but on muddy arms.
The facilities are very good. Clean restrooms, a very large dog park with a picnic table in the shade for the humans to sit at, a...

Best family friendly campgrounds in the area

We camp here every year at least twice, sometimes more. The staff is friendly, caring, and helpful in every way. They keep the campground clean and safe, have numerous activities for all age levels and you can't beat the price.
They treat you like family because it is owned by family. I would highly recommend you come check out this...

We have been coming to this campground since it became a yogi campground. We are very pleased with the staff. Every year they are always making new changes to improve the campground. All activities are close in proximity so always easy to find your kids. The seasonals are so nice and friendly. My husband, kids and I rate the campground...

Relaxing Weekend

We have stayed several times at this campground. We like the small hometown feel of a small campground. Right on the Severn River so great if you boat, kayak or canoe. You can rent paddle boats and kayaks if you don't have your own. Pool area is small but well maintained. Kids loved the jumping pillow, foam machine, and dance...

This campground is our favorite. We have gone to this campground so much the owners and staff have come to know us. We love the family atmosphere that they provide. We visit 4-5 times a year anywhere from 4 to 10 days at a time. We are always please with our stay. The only negative I would have is for...

Great Weekend

We have a 29 ft travel trailer, 10 and 8 year old, and we've recently added a dog! We enjoyed our weekend at Jellystone Park! We stayed in the area close to the pier b/c our kids are obsessed with crabbing (which we caught a bunch of keepers!). This part of the park is pretty sunny, but there are plenty...

Worst Yogi Ever

We have stayed at 2 other Yogi's. Hagerstown, MD & Loray, VA. They were both great. As for this one if u like having no TV and a water mess when it rains, this is the place for u. The pool & water zone are so small compared to other Yogi's. It is super boring here unless u have a...

We decided to try this campground because of its location. Wife had to work so she commuted for the couple of days we were there.
This Jellystone facility was an acquirement of a private campground, a couple of years ago. We have stayed at another Jellystone, and that one is like being at a pro level, and this one is...

Big Group and Tropical Storm

Making reservations was relatively simple, my only complaint is the the $50 non refundable fee per camp site for booking in advance. So for all three camp sites it cost $150 of non refundable funds. Luckily we had a big enough group to split it up, but it still seemed unnecessary. The grounds are a little smaller than other yogi...

This was my first yogi bear campground we stayed out. If I wasn't told by many people that this place was not the typical yogi campground I would never had tried another. I was so disappointed with the set up and the staff that I really couldn't believe that people keep going back to these campgrounds. The people who live...

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Campground sites need work

We arrived 2 weeks before the season started for a 3 week stay at the campground. Unfortunately, there were several days of rain which resulted in our camper becoming lake front property and the parking area a sea of mud. For much of our stay, we could not park on our site because of the mud and ruts.
Bathrooms were...

We just had the most fabulous time at the Hog Wild Weekend here at Jellystone! What a great RV and camping property on a wonderful location. We had no idea that this place was here, and we are so glad to have found it. This is one of those places that just screams with "pride of ownership." There were just...

Great family campgroung. The staff has activities planned for every age group. Located half way between richmond and the ocean. They have a fishing peer, jumping pillow, drive in movie, waterslides, kiddie pool and much more. If you want to have a great time camping, sightseeing, or a relaxing weekend away this is the place for you.
