White Dragon East County is the best martial arts school I've ever encountered and I've now been a student for 12 years. The school has classes in both tai chi and kung fu, and there is also personal training available at a reasonable price. There are individual and group classes for both adults and children- and the hours are great. Sifu Ferreira and his instructors stress discipline, hard work and personal growth tailored to the individual. I highly recommend this school to anybody interested in either martial arts or personal fitness!
The second you walk into the door of this establishment you immediately feel very welcome. The staff there is willing to help you figure out the best choice for your athetic ability. Whether it be Kung Fu, Circut Training, or personal training, I have thouroghly enjoyed every single activity that I have been involved with. Best all-round training available. Fitness, weight training, kung fu, tai chi, sparring, joint locking, weapons...as much or as little as you choose. It cannot be beat. This is a great place for the whole family. You can bring the kids to class and take an adult class all at the same time. The instructors are knowledgeable as well as friendly. Also, if you are a serious martial artist, this is the best place in San Diego to learn kung fu!
White Dragon has sooo much to offer. From kids' classes, weight training, weapons, tai chi, techno, and one-on-one personl training. I have been training for 17 years and have enjoyed working hard and growing. My son joined when was 6 and has developed into quite a talented student on and off the mat. It is rare to have the opportunity to study under a five time world champion who can impart his knowledge, experience and techniques to his students and instructors. The combined benefits of kung fu and tai chi have kept me in the best physical and mental condition of my life. At 67 years old my bone density is off the charts, balance , strength and cardiovascular energy at my peak. The new school facility at 1363 N. Cuyamaca in El Cajon offers a wide variety of individual physical training and rehabilitative options. This place is worth checking out if you're interested in learning kung fu. They also have classes in tai chi, personal training, weight training and circuit training. The facility is clean, the instructors and students are all friendly, and you'll get a great workout! There are kids classes separate from adult classes which is nice, and you can attend as many classes as you like each week in addition to your half hour individual lesson. White Dragon has been such a huge positive influence on my son and myself. Being a single mother to a son who doesn't have a positve male role model is difficult. Since signing my son up for kung fu, i have seen a huge difference in his attitude. He is happier and treating me with much greater respect. I owe it to the amazing staff at white dragon for being such great positive role models. I also work out there and have never been in better shape. The new facility for White Dragon of East County is awesome. They offer a wide variety of services...of course Kung Fu and Tai Chi, which you will get top-notch instructors, one-on-one instruction and group classes 6 days a week. But they also offer group fitness classes - Circut Training and Personal Training with certified perosanal trainers! They also have fitness classes for kids! I've been going for almost a decade now. I highly recommend it!

White Dragon in El Cajon is a phenomenal place. It provides both individual and group training for all students, has classes for kids and adults and offers both tai chi and choy le fut kung fu. Instructors are professional, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to help students attain their goals. All this at a great cost! I've driven from North County for over 10 years to come to this school and consider it a priviledge to be a student at White Dragon East County. I highly recommend this school to anybody looking into starting martial arts training.

This is an excellent place to learn martial arts. My son has been going for 15 years and my wife and I have both taken classes there. It is a great atmosphere for kids and adults. Sifu Ferreira and his instructors are great with children, patient and understanding.

I trained at White Dragon under Sifu Ferreira for more than ten years, and this school has changed my life. I am more motivated, disciplined, and in better health than at any stage of my life. White Dragon is a traditional kung fu school, and the training is suited to your needs. Personally, I trained with five year olds to students who were in their seventies. You can find great tai chi work outs, learn more about meditation, and leave the school every time knowing that you had a great work out.

My son began training at the White Dragon in 2004. The reason I brought him was because he was a small guy and was getting picked on at school. I wanted my son to be able to first and foremost to be confident in all situation's and second to be able to protect himself or someone else if need be. Great facilities and a great atmosphere. This is not the place to go if you want ""I R getting my Black Belt inna year"", but if you really want to learn, this is where you want to be. Weekly private instruction, go at your own pace, Tai Chi, Kung Fu, circuit training, there is something for everyone. There are also separate classes for kids that are tailored to their level.
