I waited over an hour before she came into the exam room. No one came into the room to explain the delay, or give me an option to reschedule. When she finally came in she never apologized or gave a reason for the delay. She spent about 10 minutes with me before she left.
Dr. Weir is the most helpful and dedicated doctor I've ever encountered.

He is knowledgeable; compassionate; and takes the time to do for all of his patients.
Back in December my mama went there and was in the ICU, and the Dr's and nurses did everything medically and humanly possible to save her. Although she passed away I have nothing but the upmost respect for the staff. When they gave us the news they sent in a team for me because of my medical issues and the way I was taking the news. That truly meant a lot to me, and I can not begin to express...

Best doctors and nursing staff
I received a double lung transplant on September 12, 1997. The Lung Transplant team was the best: Dr. Thomas Egan was my surgeon. So glad I relocated 700 miles to have the expertise of Dr. Egan and team, rather than go to a closer center to my home that was not experts with Cystic Fibrosis complications. I did not trade one illness for another - I traded a death sentence in and received LIFE!...

Careless nurses! My Mother was in terrible pain all night, I asked to nurses to have some pain medication since my mother was crying because of the pain, the nurse answered me:"she is not dying so she is not priority, she has to wait until there is a doctor available". I understand there are patients with life/death situations, but at a healthcare place, I hope they at least show some...

I believe that if it wasn't for the care given to my husband here during his almost fatal accident he would not have made the recovery he did. The people here went above and beyond to give him the best care he needed. Not only that they made it so that I felt informed and that my concerns were acknowledged and addressed they are truly amazing people.
I waited five hours in the ER only to be treated in a crappy chair in front of the nurses station. How was I supposed to receive quality care when every time I was to be examined I had to inconvenience everyone by going into the trauma room to be checked out, then back to my seat...what the heck UNC? Do you even emergency room well at all? Ever?
