This motel is within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and a short drive to Busch Gardens. It has very spacious rooms at a very reasonable rate. I liked that it was one floor and we could park our car right beside our room. There is limited selections for breakfast but there is a pancake house right next door.

I've stayed here several times and it is about the cheapest motel/hotel you will find anywhere. Yes, it is older, outdated and shabby but for the most part clean with pleasant staff. You can park right up by your room and probably the best part is that you are just a short walk to the historic district of Colonial Williamsburg....

i've already reviewed this hotel once before, but since we stayed a second time, i'll do it again! the good reviews don't lie!! yes, it's older, yes it's not a fancy 5star hotel but for the price, you get clean, large, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a free breakfast. we requested to stay in the same room as we did...

We loved this motel. It wasn't a luxury, four star hotel, but we knew that going in. The price was excellent compared to the other hotels, and it was really close to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Some things could use updating (old TV, outdated decor), but overall we had a great...

We wanted to visit Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. We needed a place to sleep that wasn't too expensive and wallah! Rodeway Inn Historic came to our rescue. The place is located relatively close to everything. So, in this case it was selected based on location, location, location and was relatively inexpensive for literally a clean, safe place to sleep....

I was looking for something simple and cheap that was nonetheless clean and safe and this place hit the mark. I was mostly out at the amusement parks, so really just needed someplace clean to be able to shower up and sleep. I read a bunch of reviews that talked about this place being clean and I have to agree....

We stayed in a 2 bed room and the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on in my life. I probably would have been more comfortable on the floor. This was an icky motel. It is old and on one floor which creeps me out. I guess it was clean but in need of an update BIG TIME. The rooms were dark and dingy. While I will not say it is as bad as the Governor's Inn in Williamsburg, it is not what I would have expected from a...

This is probably one of the smaller hotels being forced out of business by the larger chains. Our stay was really good. We had a king bed (coffee maker, fridge, microwave included in the room). Positives: It was quiet, the AC worked, and the pool seemed clean.
Negatives: It was a room from the 1980's (which I guess qualifies as historic), and there was hair in the bathroom and on the linens from previous guests (lucky for me, I bring my own linens from home on all trips.)
Would I stay here again? No.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It was a nice stay considering we usually try to stay at Marriotts. The motel was "walkable" to Colonial Williamsburg but it was a little longer than we would have liked in the heat. Staff was accommodating and helpful. 2 complaints -- no room safes and lousy breakfast.

The rooms are clean and the staff are pleasant. The Rodeway has a great location. The rooms are older and could use updating.
The WiFi reception is horrible. It's weak and very slow. If WiFi is a must then go somewhere else.

Oh well, it was OK otherwise.\n\nNothing special, just your average run of the mill hotel room. A bit old and in need of some repairs but generally clean and the bed was very nice. Got a good deal on the internet or would most likely have stayed elsewhere.

The price reflected the quality, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was great.\n\nWhile the rooms were clean enough, the bathroom could have been cleaner and some basic maintenance is in order.

Cute hotel, very clean and super comfortable bed.\n\nThere is not much to do right around the hotel unless you have a car and can drive into town.\n\nAdorable, comfortable hotel with very clean rooms and super comfy beds/pillows. I slept great, enjoyed the attractive room, and was greeted by name by the desk clerk.

After check-in they called to verify that we were happy with our room.\n\nThe hotel has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The room price is a great value. Totally loved that there was a pool even though we didn't use it. It looked very refreshing after a day of sight seeing. Loved all the windows and natural light they provided. We will definitely stay there again.

I got freaked out by the rodeway brand. It used to be a quality inn (not much better). There is a certain charm that is unique here that I hope they never change

Our stay was very nice as we found the hotel staff very friendly and nice which didn't really surprise me as we are native Virginians also and most who are born here are very friendly and hospitable. We stayed in a room with a single king bed and it was a little on the soft side which with my bad back made it uncomfortable for me, but my wife loved it. The noise was a little much but then I...
