Went by today to see if they could order or had an odd sized tank. Staff was harried/busy but had few customers. They were not particularly knowledgeable about tanks and sizes. This is a bit odd, seeing that about 50% of the floor space is dedicated to aquatics. Was told to call the owner after 4 pm.

The customer service is horrible. The store is very unorganized and trashy. The terrible smell hits you before you get to the front door. I will never attempt to shop that store ever again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone!
Well not sure why the doors are closed at Maru Pets but its about time. That place went from a wonderful store to a very horrific place. I hope for what ever the reason is, those doors remain closed. I just wish the best to the poor animals that have had to suffer at the hands of an uncaring owner.

I bought my arowana from Maru Pets, and the fish died on the 6th day. I took the fish back with a water sample, and 1st thing they did was to blame the water. This store has a great selection of fish and supplies. The tanks are always clean and the fish all look very healthy. You can buy with confidence here that your fish will live! They also have some other pets that you can buy or you can board your birds! Very nice, helpful and informative.
Awesome selection of saltwater fish and corals. They also have lots of different freshwater fish, not the run of the mill stuff like you find in most of the other stores. They are a full line store and carry puppies, reptiles, small animals etc. MARU Pets is by far the cleanest and nicest pet store I have been in. The staff is VERY helpfull and informative.
