Hotel bien mantenido, limpio, agradable y bien ubicado. Habitaciones espaciosas.

The hotel was very close to Colonial Williamsburg and easy to find. There was insufficient staff to help all the guests at the hotel. The on-site manager was being pulled in too many directions. She managed to stay pleasant and professional even when guests were complaining. The room was clean and comfortable.

Surprise! A clean, comfortable pet-friendly hotel

Average Rating

We weren't expecting much, just hoping for clean. It was so much better than that! The low reviews must have come from non-pet travelers because this hotel was very clean, smelled nice, large rooms and great beds. Breakfast was included, but we're late sleepers, so we didn't check it out.
We spent three nights here and, as frequent visitors to Williamsburg, now limited in choice because...

Clean & comfortable; fine hotel

Average Rating

Stayed here on two occasions in Jan2016. While this is a very slow time of year in town, and at area hotels, I would still recommend hotel year-round. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, room furnishings looked relatively new. Everything worked as expected (heat, Internet, hot water etc.). Hotel seems to cater to travelers with pets, but I never ran into any pet odors or problems.

Hotel Changed from last owners to Pet Friend

Average Rating

Very disappointed from my previous stays at this hotel for many years. New owners changed the Williamsburg style to modern and pet friendly. I thought I was at a dog kennel. Dogs were even in the breakfast area. You could not walk down the halls for dogs brush against you. Will not be back nor stay at any other hotels of this chain.

Great pet- friendly hotel that has been recently renovated. The hotel is less than a 5 minute drive to Colonial Williamsburg and 15 minute drive to Busch Gardens. The free breakfast included waffles, yogurt, fruit, bagels, biscuits along with coffee and juice. The staff was always friendly. The bed was really comfortable, but the sheets were not the softest. The desk clerk was friendly and welcoming. Checked in and found NO toilet tissue in the room. That was rectified quickly as were all other concerns. A very pleasant stay despite the 6 dogs on our floor! A good stay and a very convenient location. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Lots of food choices and nearby history.

We were booked here for a day only, and we were somewhat disappointed. While the building was newer and everything seemed nice, the standard room we were in was quite small, the bathroom was ridiculously small, and the worst was it did not have a microwave or fridge, when expedia's description said it had. PET FRIENDLY!!!

Average Rating

We chose to stay at La Quinta because of their pet friendly policy. I have a 70 pound pitbull, who typically exceeds pet weight limit policies and sometimes falls victim to breed specific policies. La Quinta has no such restrictions, which is such a nice change. During our stay, we saw a couple walking their two very large German Shepherds around the hotel property which made me quite happy. Hotel appeared to be newly renovated, nice hall carpeting, new and very clean bathrooms, very comfortable bed and pillows with fresh crisp linens!. Another chair would have been nice as one of us had to sit on bed to watch tv. I'm on a special diet so a fridge in the room would have been an added plus.

Overall a very nice stay, close to everything with plenty of restaurants on Bypass 60 Rd.

The hotel was beautiful. Unfortunately the shower in my room had problems. Instead of the water going down the drain, the water ran out into the bathroom area. This hotel is a little worn out, dark and dreary. The worst part was that the bedding was dirty as if the sheets had not been changed from the previous stay. When I did finally speak to the Sales Manager a few days later, he was apologetic but just as stubborn. At least he wasn't as rude. I was charged a...

One male staff in front desk is too mean. The others are pretty good.\n\nBreakfast is too simple.\n\nPriceline just assigned smoking room to two families with younger kids. It is very bad experience. Since all room have been booked, kids have to stay smoking rooms.

The space and the friendly staff and that they had coffee when you need or wanted it. The hotel was great.\n\nThe hotel did not have no freeze or microwave. Where was the resturant? The game room was dark with no lights or actions and the pool was dirty. The hotel stay was average. You get what you pay for. The breakfast area felt like a sauna. And on the last day there was a pregnant roach in my room. I wouldnt stay here again, but it was close to all the major attractions.

Came in late arrival. Went to the room which was very humid on the third floor. Wall paper border was falling off and mold and mildew ran the entire length around the room on the wall border. They had one room left and it was by the front desk. This one was mold free.... three lights out.... the main light fixture didnt even work and no TV remote. Breakfast offerings were limited with most...

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Worse place I have ever stayed at. Hotel staff were rude, unhelpful and un-knowledgeable. We recently stayed here based on reviews from visit williamsburg. While returning from our exhausting day at the theme park, we were moved from the sister hotel comfort inn to here because of lack of knowledge from the staff. When we got to the quality inn and after checking in and trying to settle in to...

Hotel was clean. The staff was friendly, all I met, at the very least, said Hi. Some even started a conversation with me. Our room was clean, but the bed could have been more comfortable. The breakfast was average, not great, but not bad. You could get enough to satisfy your hunger and there was plenty of seating. The pool was closed in mid April, so I can't review that, but I would recommend...

Hotel was in a great location; dining close by, Colonial Williamsburg (1) mile away and Bush Gardens was approx. (5) miles from hotel. However, the hotel was NOT updated. The rooms were dark, air conditioner was loud, bathroom was extremely small ( had chips in bathtub ) and had an inferior continental breakfast.

the hotel is getting somewhat old, but the rooms were clean and the reception staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice and the pool looked clean- even though we did not get a chance to swim. Extremely close to visitors center and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Disappointing Workout Area

Average Rating

I booked with this motel specifically because they said they had a workout room available and I need to work out daily for health reasons. While I was in town looking for a home due to relocation, I found the workout room basically nonexistent. The 3 pieces of work out equipment either did not work at all, or worked poorly.Very disappointing.

The overall stay was satisfactory. The rooms were small and a bit run down but overall clean. The staff was exceptional. The pool is small and should be cleaned more often. The fitness room is also small and most of the equipment is broken. The game room is full of out dated games that you have pay to play. We were close to all the main attractions.I would consider staying again.

For one of the cheapest hotels on this strip, you get what you pay for. The amenities are few and the room was nothing to be impressed by. The toilet clogged three times in two days and the front desk staff was very unwelcoming. We went on a family vacation to Williamsburg. The hotel was in a GREAT location with a good price to pay. I would probably pay a little more for a hotel for a room with a fridge and microwave. I am very picky about cleanliness in hotels and this one passed the test. The bathroom was spotless. The sheets and mattress pad were clean and fresh. This was a basic room with bed, desk, closet and TV. If I am in the Williamsburg area again, I will book this hotel. It was not luxurious, but it was clean, comfortable, and sufficient.
