Welcome to the Newest of Williamsburg, Virginia Hotels Located just a few minutes from Busch Gardens, the College of William and Mary and Colonial...
Jan and the other front desk staff gave exceptional customer service and were very welcoming. Jan gave us great recommendations for restaurants to go to and was always more than willing to answer any questions my fiancé and I had. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're traveling to Williamsburg!
Awesome experience, 7-11 right across the street if snacks and other goodies are wanted, several eating options in and around hotel. Clean, modern rooms, I would stay again if I am in the area. Staff is friendly
We had a very nice stay here. The staff was very courteous. The only downside is that the dining area is independently operated so there was no complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was the typical buffet style, average food at best, service was scattered and we paid $26 for the 2 of us which was way overpriced for what you got....
We made a quick trip to Williamsburg and stayed here two nights.
Room - relatively clean but my sheets and pillow cases ad dried on candy on them. Bathroom was clean. Water pressure was fine. Noise level is fine too.
The bed wasn't bad and I am admittedly a very picky person when it comes to beds. I've had better...
We loved staying at this comfortable hotel. We were 5 minutes away from Colonial Williamsburg and 10 minutes from Jamestown. The staff was friendly and the room clean. The pool was great and the hot tub soaked away our aches of the day. We were glad we chose this hotel. There wasn't a breakfast included at this hotel so we...
We spent three nights in a little higher class motel then most nights on the road. The competition in this area, Williamsburg, is pretty steep so this hotel has to put on some class. The rooms are spacious and are well outfitted with furniture and amenities that made our stay very comfortable. Everyone with the hotel was friendly and very...
Stayed 3 nights during the busy long weekend and had a great stay. Staff was very friendly, hospitable and accommodating. Entire hotel, facilities and rooms were super clean and very well maintained. Spacious pool, hot tub and outdoor patio with couches and heaters made for a great evening of relaxation and entertainment.
Breakfast and restaurant was perfect, great food and...
I had a small issue with check-in but the front desk staff Kirk and Keyona) fixed everything within a few minutes and all was well. The housekeeping staff (led by Shakira) was amazing. Everything was very clean and neat. The hotel is very nice, kept well and looks new. I enjoyed the hot tub and the pool as well.
This hotel was rated #1 on TripAdvisor for good reason! My family (hubby and kids ages 5 and 11) went to Williamsburg over Thanksgiving 2015. The hotel is super clean and modern. We had a suite with a sofa bed and it was very roomy. I am a clean freak so when I say the room was clean, it was...
Wonderful accommodating staff, beautiful suite and Jan at the front desk is an absolute Gem- she was friendly, hospitable and will book again because of her. This was the first weekend were able to do something with the kids in a very long time and I cannot thank her as well as the rest of the staff for their hospitality...
This clean, modern hotel is a short ride (a couple of miles at most) from the colonial center of Williamsburg. Prices are quite reasonable. The hotel has a good restaurant, the Bistro, which is fortunate because there's not a lot of dining choice within walking distance. The buffet breakfast that came with the room offered a decent variety of the...
We booked our family trip 5 months in advance for 3 nights 4 days. We booked a suite but we received a standard room. I spoke with a manager, was told he had nothing else for me. So we spent 2 nights cramped in a standard room. My husband is 6'3 and the boys are 6'1 and are 17 years...
We booked through hotwire, so didn't know which hotel we were getting until we'd actually booked. When I saw it was a holiday inn I wasn't too happy ... last one I stayed in came straight out if the 1970s.
I WAS SO WRONG. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.
I really can't fault it at any level.
We stayed here for one night on our way to NJ. Four adults in the room with plenty of room to spare, Service was very good. Nice, clean, reasonably priced Holiday Inn. No complaints would definitely stay again.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable experience at this Holiday Inn. The location is great, less than two miles from the center of the historical area and easily traveled. The room was clean with efficient room service. The restaurant provided a delicious well balanced meal at a very fair price. The staff was friendly with one member, Jan,...
The rooms are newly renovated, spacious and comfortable. Nice tub/shower, large fluffy towels and lots of bathroom light. Nice large-screen TV. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially in finding good restaurants. Check-in was a bit slow for our golf group. We had an unfortunate experience with a long, loud party in the hospitality suite on our floor. It went on...
Hands down the best staff a hotel could have and on top of that our server for the outside patio/bar area was amazing! When you go be sure to request Wesley, a waiter can really make a night! By far one of the best servers I've had! Do yourself a favor and stay here when visiting Colonial Williamsburg!
We (myself, wife, and teenage son) spent 3 nights in this hotel during a recent family vacation. First off, the good points - hotel is in a good location, it is about 5 minute drive from Colonial Williamsburg and about 15 minutes to Busch Gardens. There are also numerous restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive from the hotel. There is...
This hotel is a gem. Very clean, comfortable, quiet. The beds are sooo comfortable. We never slept so great at a hotel as we did here. Jan, clerk at the front desk gave us the warmest welcome and great information on the area. The servers at the restaurant were so friendly and the restaurant manager was kind as well.....she worked...
would highly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone. Friendly staff, good food and excellent location to Busch Gardens and W & M. I have stayed at other places in Williamsburg but this was the nicest place by far!
When we arrived we were greeted by Jan at the front desk. She was very friendly and welcoming as is all the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and they had both firm and soft pillows which was nice. The restaurant had excellent food and servers. We had a deal in which our breakfast was...
Nice and tidy establishment. Excellent staff who go out of the way to help you. Centrally located to all amenities and sights worth seeing or going to like colonial Williamsburg and Busch gardens. Plenty of good eating places.
My husband I stayed here as part of our anniversary trip! Wow! We were greeted at the front desk by Jan. When she found out it was our anniversary we were presented with balloons AND cheesecake. The suite was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this establishment to ANYONE. So glad we are here for a few nights !!!
We only spent 1 night, but received a friendly welcome and were given an upgraded room, without asking, since they weren't real busy.
Very nice accomodations and close to the Williamsburg attractions.
Room was clean and pleasant, a little smaller than I expected for a suite but still a very decent size. Bed was comfy, not to soft but not too hard. The staff was great, from the front desk to the restaurant servers to the housekeeper for my room. The food was also amazing. freshly cooked and very tasty. all in...
As Busch Garden's Season Pass members, and IHG Premium Card members, we have made the Holiday Inn Gateway, our hotel of choice when staying in town. In my opinion the front dest agents are among some of the nicest I've ever encountered at any hotel chain. They are always welcoming, and quick to get us checked in to our rooms....
We had a wonderful stay. Hotel was well kept, clean, kid friendly, quiet and staff was helpful. Although the hotel was operating at capacity, service was excellent. In particular Jan, at the front deskdid a great job to make sure we were well served. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again!!!
When checkin in Miss Jan gave me a great room for the 16 days I was there. The food in the restaurant was very good. The servers, bartenders, and cooks were very friendly. Everyone kept raving about the mussels. I recommend the steak.
Check-in by Jill (hope I remembered correctly) started our stay off great. Room was very nice - no cleanliness problems - everything was working and looked fine. Minor issue was with the shower head which sprayed a fine stinging stream, but it was much better than some we've encountered. The one negative that might influence us to not stay here...
Jan Harrington went above and beyond. I had stayed at this hotel a few weeks earlier and she took care of me then. When I walked into the lobby she remembered me and even remembered I had told her it would be my daughters 20th birthday. When we got up to our room there were balloons, a sweet birthday card...
We Checked in and the staff was very friendly and professional. Mariah and Jan are very nice and the restaurant staff was great as well. Room was clean and the overall experience was excellent. Your kids will love the pool.
I recently took my kids to Williamsburg for Spring Break. We had originally checked in to another hotel and within our 1st 5 minutes, I knew we had to leave. I found the Holiday Inn on the hotels.com website and made a reservation over the phone on the way to checking in. When we arrived at the Holiday Inn I...
We got the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two nights. Everything here was just perfect. We especially loved the service and help that Mrs. Jan gave us from
The front desk. She is a big reason we will be coming back. This hotel was perfect!
We booked a secret hotel deal for a 3.5 star rated hotel and ended up here for a 1 night stay. The hotel is small but wonderful. The room was beautiful, clean and wonderfully decorated. The only thing that we didn't like was that the tub had dirt/grime. The beds were so plush and comfortable that it felt like we...
The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The hotel has just been redone, so the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean & up to date. The hotel buffet was nothing special, but it was nice that it was in the hotel. There is a Denny's next door.
I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in years, but with a family of six we try to find suites that can accommodate us. This hotel has 2 bedroom "executive suites". My wife was thrilled when I walked in the room after parking the car. The entire hotel was clean and modern. The kids loved the indoor pool and I...
We're always a bit worried when checking into a 3-star hotel because the quality can vary so widely. But the Holiday Inn in Historic Williamsburg did not disappoint. I wish all hotels gave us this level of comfort, cleanliness and service for under $100 a night!
If you and your family are planing a visit to Colonial Williamsburg, figuring out...
Just stayed here for one night with my girl because it was close to Busch Gardens. I had no problems what-so-ever. I was upgraded to a suite for free, which was nice. And the lady at the front desk was very pleasant. The room was clean and I noticed no flaws. The Hall was quiet and clean as well. My...
We stayed here for two nights in a one bedroom suite and were not impressed. This is not up to the quality standards of any Holiday Inn. The bathroom, mainly the tub, was dirty. The sink was stopped up and one tv did not work and one light flickered constantly so we sat in the dark. We stayed on the...
I guess I wasn't as impressed with the renovations as other reviewers. Our first room was renovated but the shower was filthy. I asked for another room and was given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. The bathtub was cleaner but I can't say it was as clean as the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. The...
Beautiful entry/lobby. Polite and professional desk clerk. Staff answered your questions and anticipated others. Lots of granite and tile. Room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. HVAC incorporated energy saving features that also maintained a comfortable temperature. At 8 PM we discovered the sleeper sofa was missing a sheet. The General Manager, Kevin, quickly arrived...
Recently updated. Clean as a whistle. Attentive staff. Decent buffet. Would recommend and stay there again. I wish they have robes available but that is a minor criticism. My daughter said workout room was fine and required card entry.
Same Holiday Inn just couldn't get a king room or the breakfast package on our room when we booked. No worries as Denny is right next door, just walk over. Appear lots of folks coming for Bush Garden fright night booking the place.
Phone didn't work in the room.
The Ethernet port for Internet didn't work either. The IP address...
We were upgraded to one of the newly renovated suites and had a delightful stay. This hotel exceeds expectations and staff was totally helpful. Lobby is quite nice. Location is excellent. We'll be back.
WOW - beautifully done!! Our Ladies Retreat was here once again but it's like a new place. I LOVED my room on top - 5th floor......you must see this!! Our meeting room was beautiful; love all they have done, great service, office staff so helpful GREAT stay and really close to old city Williamsburg.....
Hotel is clean, quiet, near everything. Bistro restaurant is in the lobby. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is currently undergoing renovations but the hotel is still quiet and neat. The pool is currently undergoing renovation and is unavailable. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The front staff is knowledgeable and pleasant.
I was coming in for business and called and asked if I could check in early due to the storm which was coming in. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Danielle at the front desk. She explained the hours for the bistro, the pool was closed for renovations. My room was beautiful! Quiet, king comfy bed. Hotel is near...
Our expectations were consistently exceeded during our entire stay. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Beautiful, clean, modern decor throughout the hotel. We will definitely be returning soon on our next trip to Williamsburg in the spring. Excellent location next to historic areas, shopping, and dining.
This hotel was amazing! The staff (Danielle Desk Clerk) was so helpful. I would stay here 100 times over. The bed was super comfortable. The hot tub was perfect. I loved the exercise room. Thanks for a great lil get away for my husband and I.
Me and my hubby came here for a weekend getaway. It's a short drive to colonial Williamsburg from this hotel. I really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, the staff was nice, they had a bar, and a restaurant. Our room was fairly priced too and very roomy. I do wish they would've had continental breakfast. I would...
Rooms were spacious and clean, but coffee maker had seen better days. My elderly father was awakened by an alarm set by a previous patron at 6:00 am. Very unfortunate. My 11 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and our breakfast was adequate with many choices on the buffet.
Convenience of location\n\nThe bed pillows were only 14" long. Difficult to sleep with such a tiny pillow.
Very modern and classy decor and feel to public spaces and rooms\n\nNope - great stay\n\nNew and classy property with modern public spaces and very nice rooms. Attractive indoor pool. Definitely a place I will stay again.
Comfortable, clean, attractive, located very close to Colonial Williamsburg and front desk staff were very accommodating and courteous.\n\nno\n\nComfortable, clean, attractive, located very close to Colonial Williamsburg and front desk staff were very accommodating and courteous.
Wonderful, knowledgeable staff! So helpful with area recommendations!\n\nNice Hot Tub and Pool. Bar and Restaurant off the lobby. Nice clean suites with great bedding and super pillows.
The room was comfortable and well appointed.\n\nI always prefer having a hotel with an included breakfast.
Everything was great about it, like one of my daughters said," I would give it a 5 stars mom".\n\nNope\n\nThe room was spacious, the beds were amazing!! The shower was awesome and very, extra clean. It was in the middle of Williamsburg so location was perfect.
Friendly staff, helpful\n\nNo\n\nThis hotel is in a great location right next to Colonial Williamsburg, and many of the fine eating establishments in Williamsburg. It is also easy to get to the outlet mall, Busch Gardens, Jamestown, and Yorktown. I would stay here again.
Loved the fact that for a rock bottom Priceline Price, I got a brand new, clean hotel!\n\nThis hotel is a brand new facility that has every detail for the guest's comfort in place. A quite, clean, comfortable place to stay, sleep, meet, etc.
Hotel was in a great location. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms where comfortable, I especially enjoyed the use of the on site gym.
Quiet room, good ventilation/heating system that one could cut off fan, easy access to hotel, good nearby restaurants/food vendors, wi-fi available on site for no extra charge.\n\nEverything was up to expectations\n\nGood information available in racks, personnel pleasant and helpful. Hotel readily accessible.
The staff seemed helpful and accomodating. good location.\n\nWe noticed something very interesting in this hotel. When the people on either side of us flushed their toilets , we could hear it through the walls, especially in the evening when things were quiet.
The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.\n\nNo\n\nThe hotel very much met our expectations. The location was very convenient, the staff friendly and helpful, the room comfortable and clean.
Modern/clean/location\n\nNo\n\nJust wish breakfast were included- but that's the only thing I would change!
Jan on the Night Desk was fantastic and went out of her way to help us.
They did have a nice fitness room and also a nice business center.
The parking is free and you can get a space close to one of the entrances.\n\nI am sure it is a three star. I have never been impressed with Holiday Inn even though I am a former Priority Club Member. The hotel is an older property that has been...
The staff was great,my wife and i were celebarting our fifty year anniverasy.we had a great room, and after we went out to have a evening meal we returned to our room we had choclate covered strawberries and silver balloons awating us.we always enjoy visit\n\nno\n\nthis is a great location in williamsburg, lots of restaurants near by.and there are a lot of stores in the outlets in the area.if you...
Staff\n\nBeds were terrible. Spa was way to hot 1st night and cold next morning. Coffee maker in room did not work.
The whole experience was wonderful and the staff went out of their way to accomodate me and my family. Jan Harrington was just great.\n\nGreat location between Busch Gardens and outlet mall. The staff is very helpful.
Conveniently located amongst Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Premium Outlets. The staff was cheery and helpful.\n\nThe hotel could use a bit more parking.\n\nA clean and inviting mid-level hotel. If you are looking for a family-friendly hotel in the Williamsburg area, the Holiday Inn Historic Gateway is highly recommended. If you are looking for a high-end hotel experience, look...
The front desk person was GREAT. I have actually had him before and I hope you get this HE Is REALLY good. I arrived @ 6:30 after a lengthy drive which was quite strenuous. I believe his name was David (?) but he was cheerful, efficient and generous wit\n\nNo. This is a great find.\n\nBesides the front desk, there is a fine restaurant and bar here with a really good waiter and chef.i think...
Super clean and roomy. The hotel was within 2 miles of everything in Williamsburg. We did not eat here so we really cant comment on the food or the lounge. The staff was very accommodating, the only negative was the housekeeping crews were extremely noisy in the hallways.
The bathroom was large and well stocked with towels and toiletries\n\nI stayed over a weekend and the wifi access code expired on Sunday morning. However, the hotel staff was able to get me what I needed to compensate.
The front desk (David?) great! Waiter/bartender also superior.\n\nThis is the second time for me at this hotel and I think it was a great deal. I was impressed by the cordiality of the staff. The room was clean, safe and comfortable.
free internet was great. elevator was very fast. very clean\n\nlobby felt cold and uninviting. not a place to hang out not much furniture\n\nthe night staff was friendly and efficient, the morning girl was not friendly and very abrubt . did not smile
This hotel exceeded expectations.\n\nEveryone was very helpful. Great experience!
Beautiful hotel. Very clean and exactly what you would expect from a 3 star hotel.\n\nThe front desk clerk at check-out was not able to handle things on his own.\n\nEverything is exactly what you expected to be. It was clean. We had no issues. We had a very pleasant stay. The pillow menu was a pleasant surprise. All the upgrades make for a comfortable stay.
I stayed there the weekend of October 5, 2012. I woke up after my second night there with a series of itching bites on my left foot.
Good location - convenient to sights, restaurants and shopping.\n\nNot met all expectations.\n\nIt was nothing to rave about, but was clean, comfortable and met all our needs for our particular stay. I would recommend to friends, but advise to eat breakfast next door at the waffle house.
The information about area attractions was fantastic.\n\nRoom lighting was dim.\n\nStaffat the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Good curb appeal, lobby was very nicely furnished and the room was great.
Lobby was very modern and clean. Staff was very helpful. Check-in and out was quick and easy.\n\nVery nice, decor is modern and clean. Breakfast buffet was a good deal. Having a restaurant/bar in the lobby is a nice convenience. Bed was comfortable and the rooms quiet during our stay.
The room was updated, comfortable and nice and quiet.\n\nThis hotel was in the perfect location to get to all attractions, shopping and restaurants.
An unheralded gem andworth discovery.\n\nThe whirlpool had a unpleasant smell.\n\nThis is one of the best hotels, I have had the pleasure staying at, particularly in Williamsburg! It is modern, well-appointed with a wonderful staff. It's in a perfect location andclose to everything, but away from the bustle of the area.
Large TV, refridge and microwave in room, no extra cost. Very good price for nice accommodations.\n\nNothing.\n\nPlace was great, clean, quiet, nicely furnished and updated.
Fridge, microwave, big TV, and do no disturb electronic button.\n\nNo room service menu in room.
PM employee sent us to a good local restaurant.\n\nDirty BR andInternet use stopped at midnight! Rude front desk employee, no regenerators coffee in room.\n\nI would never have classified this as a 3 star hotel. No breakfast. Only decaf coffee in the room. AM clerk was rude. Called us "Kiddos" not a proper manor that a stranger should address a senior citizen. Not a good experience.
Attractive, clean, comfortable and near to all I needed.\n\nI was very comfortable here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel was clean modern and quiet- It is centrally located and convient to the College and Colonial williamsburg
Unfortunately, we did not get to stay in this hotel.
Clean and convenient.\n\nThere was a smell that could linger in the hall for a few days.\n\nOverall, very nice hotel and I would return again.
Our room smelled like smoke, the decor was very dated, and the room did not feel clean.\n\nI would not stay at this hotel again.
Very clean and modern.\n\nGreat hotel for the price. We will stay again.
Based on other reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to stay at this holiday inn on a recent trip to Williamsburg. We really liked the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all of the...

The best was the price I found in priceline for what we got\n\nI like everything.\n\nNice hotel for a family vacation in Williamsburg.
Clean, well maintained. Met expectations.\n\nlimited fitness center relative to comparable hotels
Very clean, nicely appointed hotel. Beautiful lobby, good breakfast buffet, and nice rooms.\n\nExcellent hotel if you are vacationing in the Williamsburg area. Very close to restaurants, and attractions. Nice facilities all around.
Great staff and comfy rooms.\n\nThe restaurant food quality was below par for a hotel of this quality.\n\nNice room, friendly staff, great location to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. Tons of restaurants in the area all types of food and price ranges. Definitely something for everyone!
Location and lobby.\n\nThe room refridge was not cold enough, the microwave lacked power and we had no breakfast included.\n\nVery nice hotel.
She was extremely friendly and most helpful. This hotel is lucky to have her.\n\nThe hotel was immaculate and modern, Our room was fantastic; clean and well appointed. Most importantly, staffat the front office was so helpful and went out of her way to make us comfortable. I saw her handling other customers in the same manner.
Location was awesome. Love having a fridge and microwave in room.\n\nMaid didn't leave any clean towels, had to call front desk. No lid on coffee pot so coffee didn't drain, maid said it would be taken care of, wasn't\n\nHotel is very clean and employees are welcoming. Have stayed here before and will probably stay here again in the future.
Loved the shower and pool.\n\nDidn't like the pillows. Just me though.\n\nVery nice. Clean, roomy, comfortable. Would stay again.
The room was amazing! It was far more than I expected.\n\nThe bathroom sink could have been cleaner.\n\nThe hotel was great. The room was a handicapped accessible room so it was probably larger than regular rooms. The room was very clean and comfortable. It looked as if the hotel had been renovated within the past few years; it had all modern furniture and amenities. The staff was ery friendly...
Clean, modern, attractive rooms, lobby, and public spaces.\n\nNo breakfast included even though less expensive hotels do include this. Always had to ask to refile towels in pool area.
Room was comfortable.\n\nCoffee maker did not work.\n\nRate was good for the area. Room was comfortable. Staff were friendly.
the room are very nice and very modern\n\nThere is nothing else beside the rooms. Nothing else to do. Dining options very limited. Location very remote.\n\nThe hotel is nice overall. Just for sleeping. Very comfortable rooms but nothing else evailable. Staff not so friendly.
Lots of parking.\n\nCheck in process.\n\n
With the only exception being the check-in process where the young girl who was checking us in kept asking us to wait while she answered one phone call after another (apparently, this is hotel policy where a ringing phone takes priority over a guest in front of the employee), the hotel and staff was great. Rooms were a good size and clean, the common...
I was attending a conference and registered at lunch time. The front desk person was very pleasant and upgraded my room from a standard to a suite. Pleasant staff, my room was upgraded to a suite, a nice bonus!
Confusion at check in followed by two days of water shut down in the hotel between the hours of 10 am - 4 pm. Music so lound from a party that my room had to changed at 8:30 p.m. - poor service overall!
it was very good with one exception you advertise a DVD player in room i had to request one they contacted one of there other hotel and found me one that I had to hook up myself other than that the stay was excelent
The staff was very helpful from the first day until we checked out. The chef was personable. The rooms were clean. The beds were too soft for us, but they made immediate arrangements to solve the problem. ( sweet dreams ) Our stay was very enjoyable.
Perfectly decent clean comfortable hotel.good convenient location. Even though our room looked ove the highway it was surprisingly quiet. Only complaint was the foamy pillows but this could be a personal preference
We spent 3 nights here, while exploring Virginia's historic sites at Williamsburg, Yorktown & Jamestown. Hotel was very convenient to the Colonial Parkway that accesses all 3 areas.Hotel was totally smoke free, quiet, clean, and 4 yrs. old, we heard from staff. Staff was friendly, without exception. Fitness center and pool were great. Loved having microwave & frig in room. Very comfortable...
everyone @ the hotel was helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay there again.
Upon arriving we found out our room was already upgraded to a suite when we only purchased a standard room. Needless to say, it was an awesome way to start our visit. Everything in the suite was spotless and well stocked (towels, tp, washclothes...) I will be staying here again! Bistro 515 also had excellent steak!
Attended a college football game - our team won - and did some historical sightseeing. Everything was wonderful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great location
all good; recommend to anyone
My husband and I found the hotel to be in an excellent location to access Williamsburg restaurants and Downtown Williamsburg. We only spent one night there but it was very comfortable. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room which came in handy and a large flatscreen tv. Free wifi was useful and the shower was great. We didn't eat at the hotel but there was a bar downstairs and a very...
very easy to get in and out of Colonial Williamsburg
This is a really nice, quiet hotel. It's a short distance from dining and shopping. Everything , was spotless and I liked the fact, that the staff went ahead and checked the room, prior to checking in.
My friends and I went to Williamsburg for a short, quick trip to Busch Gardens. Our stay at the hotel was great! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel about an hour prior to check-in, but were allowed to check-in anyway. Thanks goodness because we were SO tired. The rooms were up to date and had great amenities, but most importantly clean!
Great place to stay, very quiet, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and a good location.
This hotel was everything we expected it to be. The staff attentive and friendly. The room updated and clean. The room was well stocked with large towells, toiletries, refrigerator, iorning board, and a coffee maker.+++ If you are like us and have trouble sleeping in uncomfortable hotel beds. For us, at least, the beds were great. We slept peacefully rested and refreshed. Beautiful location.
Sometimes when you book a hotel room online you don't get what you saw online. This is not the case. The hotel was beautiful! We travelled with our daughter for her birthday and she loved the room. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. The microwave and fridge in the room were an added bonus. Pool was rather small but it worked for us. Only 2 minor complaints. (1) That there...
This is a better thn average mid-priced hotel. We will probably stay there again when we next visit Wi;lliamsburg.
The Holiday Inn WAS A Great place to stay. From the Hotel staff, to the Clean rooms the vacation was perfect. The Hotel must be new, and they upkeep the rooms and public very well. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area,
The Holiday Hotel & Suites was centerally located to dining and attractions in Williamsburg. The pool was very refreshing at the end of a long day of sight seing and the business center was great for checking our email in the mornings before we started out for the day.
Situated in Williamsburg, this hotel is 1 mi (1.6 km) from Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center and 1.4 mi (2.2 km) from Governor's Palace. Ripley's Believe It or Not! and Merchants Square are also within 2 mi (3 km).
This hotel is within close proximity of Walter J. Zable Stadium at Cary Field and Merchants Square.
Whether you're taking the kids to explore the wonders of Colonial Williamsburg, or are simply in this beautiful town on business, there is something for everyone at this hotel. The 24-hour business center of this establishment has all of the amenities a traveling business person could hope for. Meanwhile, if you are visiting this historic town for pleasure, you will be happy to know that...
Everyone loves a good getaway, but as household budgets shrink, finding the time and the money to go on vacation becomes more difficult. One option that many people are turning to is what is known as a "staycation," a mini vacation done locally so as to save on travel costs. By checking out hotels and attractions in your area.

The Holiday Inn Hotel in Williamsburg, Virginia is located just a short drive from two of the city's top destinations, Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Guests find the standard rooms to be spacious and clean, but many comment that joining the hotel's Priority Club in advance of arriving allowed them to upgrade for free to a larger suite. The room amenities are pretty standard,...
