What a nice little secret! Nice location for attraction seekers. My room was very clean. The staff was great and helpful all the way. Comfy and cosy! Great value.

Please Don't Even Think of Staying at This Dump!!

Please don't even think of staying at this dump!! We arrived after a long day at Bush Gardens to find what I can only describe as the nastiest place I've ever seen. The seasonal pool was a swamp! We had booked through Travelocity and was assured that we could cancel free of charge, so we did. The next day the hotel had charged us anyway and refuses to give any refund. Travelocity has been trying to call to get us a refund and these people won't even answer the phone. There is a large sign that says it's $27.99 a night so if your willing to risk staying there, don't pay the $80.00 they want online. Worst experience ever!

Nothing. It should not be open still. Definitely NOT a 2.5 star. Should have no star rating. No one should have to stay at a place like this. Staff refused to give refund after we said we were not staying there.\n\nThis hotel was absolutely atrocious. There was a bug on our pillow when we walked in and SEVERAL reaches in the bathroom and on the sink. It was so bad that we ended up leaving and...

Nothing at all.\n\nThe place was an absolute dump. When we arrived they didnt have our reservation. The room smelled horrible and full of bugs. There we no towels or toilet paper, the sheets were filthy and the train came almost every 2 hours.

I cannot think of one thing I liked.\n\nExtremely dirty - lobby, property, pool, especially the room. Room smelled like antiseptic. Train ran 100 ft from hotel every 3 hours and blew whistle constantly. Should be torn down - already half way there.

It's right next to the train tracks so if you can sleep through that, be my guest.

I stayed here to just spend the night so I can be fresh for long drive next day. The room was clean with well made bed. No issues with the bathroom either. This hotel is for budget travelers who are looking for value for money!

It's old, but still a viable hotel

Seriously, the worst thing I can say about the hotel was that it is old and it shows. The rooms are dark thanks to the dark wood paneling that was popular when the hotel was built (my guess would be 60's-70's), the plaster is sporting some discoloration, and the fixtures are a bit dated.
But that's the worst I can...

I stayed here for a couple weeks until I could find a more permanent place in Williamsburg. My husband and I stayed for one night, and the facility was beautifully decorated and very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. A free breakfast is included. No need for specific details, but this place is for transients, junkies, and the downtrodden. Children should not be in such a place. Look elsewhere.

The room was advertised as a Kitchenette, but, the stove didn't work and the door to the refrigerator didn't close. There was dried urine from years gone by on the toilet and piles of dirt in the corners of the bathroom. The chairs were so "shot" that I sank below where the springs once were and couldn't get out, not...
