The hotel is well worth the extra money! Excellent staff, the facilities are very nice, and it's well located. 35 minutes from the beach in one direction & 35 minutes from Williamsburg/Busch Gardens in the other direction. The staff was spot on. When we checked in, we needed linens for the pull-out bed. By the time I was able to unload my car, they were there waiting on the bed!

Great locale for business travelers. Enjoyed stay with family (business travelers didn't use pool facilities, so we had the whole place to ourselves). Hotel isn't near any points of interest for vacationers, but Suffolk appears to be a nice, safe place. It was snowing, so we didn't venture far, but it appeared there were plenty of food options nearby. The hotel breakfast buffet was okay.

The hotel staff was very personable. In fact, the gentleman gave us an additional $20 off per night in order for us to get the government rate. We ended up saying $80. We checked in on Thanksgiving day, and the staff was very pleasant, in spite of working on the holiday. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the entire staff was friendly.
