Short story, the first night was perfect. My husband and I decided to buy another room for another night becuase my in law and his sister showed up... Well the second room had bugs in one of the beds and small things like the body was dispenser didn't work but mainly we complained about seeing a bug in the pillow. My stay at the ALOFT was the absolute worst, the sheets on the bed were so dirty as if they hadn't washed them before our stay. The cleanisness of the hotel room was unacceptable I will not be returning to that hotel ever again !

I stay here every time I head to Chesapeake for work. It's clean, modern, and close to everything. However ... I was MAJORLY disappointed that they no longer have AMC in the channel line up and I had to miss the Walking Dead. That will sway my room selection next time if they do not have it.

There was mold on the ceilings, and we could hear a considerable amount of noise coming up from the lobby (we assume). We were on the third floor, and not near the lobby or elevators. Overall, the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We would stay here again.

The front desk lady confused me with my brother and told me I had the King bed when I had the Queen double. She put my credit card info on his room as well. Very conveinent location! 25 mins to Virginia beach and 20 mins to Norfolk naval base. Friendly staff and had great suggestions on where to go out for a good bite to eat.
