Short story, the first night was perfect. My husband and I decided to buy another room for another night becuase my in law and his sister showed up... Well the second room had bugs in one of the beds and small things like the body was dispenser didn't work but mainly we complained about seeing a bug in the pillow. The first night for my husband and I was great! We loved it

Hotel is modern and inviting. The lobby is a great gathering place, complete with bar, pool table and lounge area. Rooms are well designed and modern.

There were four in our group & we had a great time. Two had never stayed @ an ALoft before & enjoyed it very much. The entire staff was great. I have never come across anyone there who was not extremely pleasant; It seemed like they all enjoyed their jobs.
My daughter loved the bed so much, she wants to buy one! The only things that could have been better:
1) It is difficult to get the room...

Staff was not good. Did not care about us or response to any of our questions or concerns. There was a wedding party there and they had no time for anything but the wedding party. It was at least 15 degrees colder in the hallways than the room. Cold enough you had to hustle to get to your room. Weather was bad and we could not get under the roof cover. I have stayed in an Aloft in Winchester a couple of times before. The hotel décor is really cool so when I needed to make a quick trip to Chesapeake, I booked a room at the Aloft. The staff in the Winchester Aloft is my only complaint. The few times I was there, the staff was cold and very disinterested in helping me.
