What the community has to say about Oregon Wines On Broadway

Information about this business (3)

Oregon Wines on Broadway in downtown Portland pours the best selection of Oregon Pinot Noir by the taste, by the glass, or the bottle.

We have wine available by the taste, glass or bottle. We also offer membership into the Northwest Wine Collector's Club, which offers selections from the lush Pinot Noirs of Oregon's Willamette Valley, to Washington's rich Red Mountain Cabernets, and the dense ripe fruit of Walla Walla's incredible Merlots, Syrahs and blends.

there are 36 wines behind our bar on an argon gas system and 5 white that we keep in the fridge because you know they are supposed to be cold.We specialize in Oregon Pinot Noir so 30 of the reds are just that.

Oregon Wines on Broadway Restaurant Review

Oregon Pinot Noir is the star at this friendly bar, with thirty-plus selections available for tastings on any given day by pour, glass or bottle. The Champagne selection is decent, too. All glasses and bottles are complemented by an array of predictable, but tasty, tidbits, such as cheese, olives, Marcona almonds and dried cherries. This is also the home of the OWOB Wine Club, but you don’t...

Anyone interested in Oregon Pinot Noir should make a beeline for this friendly storefront. Step inside to find 30 Pinots alone available for tasting, and that's on an average day. As the city's showcase for top Pacific Northwest vino,…

Sassy sisters serve good wine in a vintage nook of Morgan's Alley.

In Short
Kate and Betsy Bolling's shop is small and packed with wine, and they'll point you to a good bottle, no matter what you're after. With dozens of wines available by the glass and...

The wines and selection are very good, however staff can be hit and miss. If you take everything with a grain of salt, you will most certainly have a very good time. Small plates are very good, except on one of our last visits we seemed a little short changed on the Brie. The next day was another story. I...

Decent wine, unwelcoming service

I walked in and enjoyed the look of the place, the wine menu was appealing. But honestly, I have given this spot 2 chances and I give up. The person behind the counter (same person both times) was unwelcoming, and unattentive. The wine selection was decent, but don't expect to be guided into a glass of wine that best suits...

I've been coming to this wine bar for years now. Every time I make a stop in Portland, this is a must-visit place. I love Oregon wines and have really expanded upon my Pinot knowledge - even on trips where I also visit Dundee vineyards. They have a multitude of Pinot Noir on tap - most all from Oregon. But...

We enjoyed sipping wine, eating pate and olives at this wine room. They offered a great variety and relaxed atmosphere. No uppity people at this establishment so just ask for advise and enjoy!

Good service but it was a little slow. Looks to be a core group of regulars and I was just an out of town party of one. They will downsize the appetizer portion if you ask nicely. Small, intimate setting. Nice selection of pinots.

We are a wine bar and bottle shop in the heart of Downtown Portland, Oregon. We taste wine all day, Monday through Saturday and pour over 40 local wines by the taste, glass or flight. Need a bottle to go? We have nearly 100 selections of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and white wine, full bodied reds from Washington and the best Champagne selection in town! Or come down with friends, get a bottle...

This comfortable wine bar with good music, located in Morgan's Alley, is small but attracts a congenial crew of patrons. Its specialty is Oregon wines, and forty are available for sampling each night. The staff is well-versed in the various vintages and can advise you on selections and tell you the history of the wines. Although Oregon Wines isn't open incredibly late, they close at 8 PM, it's...

The Extras: On the first and third Thursday of the month, the shop pours wine from a selected producer, along with food, for $12.

Know Before You Go: Cheese plates and salads are available to snack on, but they don't make for a real meal, so make this a first stop on your way to dinner downtown.
