Love this restaurant. Literally on the waterfront. Food is good quality. Will plate shared meals. Staff is professional and friendly. I go often.

We visited On The Waterfront for a seafood meal. We were there in the early evening. We started out with a piece of cornbread that was hot and delicious. Be sure you try the cornbread. I had the Pamlico Platter with shrimp, scallops and flounder....

All 3 meals we consumed were over cooked and gloppy. The serving staff knew nothing about the wine choices or even about the type of fish that was the fish of the day. This place came recommended by our hotel but I would skip this place if seafood is on your mind. The redeeming factor was the nice view from the patio

Walked in at 9:15. Web sire said open until whenever on Sat night. We were rudely told that they closed at 9:00. Walked down the street for a very welcoming experience at Ribeye.

We started with the Redneck Rockefeller oysters (collards instead of spinach). You get 5 for $9 and they are tasty.
