This apartment complex is privately owned. It has little or no respect for its occupants.. Mold grows
freely in the apartments and can take months to be taken care of, not removed. Maintenance men
come and go and usually the good ones are let go and you are left to deal with the " I'm not sure
whats wrong" men.....Do yourself a favor and look across the street to Belmont where that are all...

I LOVE this apartment complex. We have lived here since January 2013 and have never once had a problem. The apartments aren't fancy, but they have wood floors and renovated bathrooms and kitchens, and they allow you to paint. The utilities are included in the rent and parking is free (and plentiful). Anytime we have needed maintenance, they came within 1-2 days and solved the problems...

Monticello Square Apartments is a wonderful place to live. The manager June is kind and often goes out of her way to help when you need it. The maintenance crew is friendly and quick to fix any issue. The apartments are large and well laid out and the price is fantastic, especially considering the great location and amenities.

This apartment complex is often overlooked because of its aging exterior, but with older complexes sometimes comes unexpected surprises--both good and bad. First the good--this apartment is huge! Prefect as it is close to shopping, I95, city transportation and the charm of old town Fredericksburg. Well maintained, spacious apartments that are very economical. Life is much easier to live here.
