"It's hard to resist" the "wonderful" signature veal chop say longtime customers who look to this Herndon Italian mainstay as a setting for a "special occasion" or "romantic evening", with its "pleasant" candlelit setting; it's expensive, but the "extensive" wine list and "warm", family-owned atmosphere make it a comfortable fit, time and again.

Have been patronizing Zeffirelli's for 25 years, always a pleasant experience. It was a busy night with only two primary servers on the floor. Waited 20 minutes after entrees to get coffee and dessert menu. All in all, a good experience except for the delay. Veal Chop is still the best.

The atmosphere service and cuisine were excellent. It is such a treat to have mature wait staff who really value there profession and go the extra distance to make your dining experience a wonderful moment.

This was our first visit to Zeffirelli- we were looking for an Italian restaurant that was a cut above the average neighborhood spot or chain.

This is a wonderful family-owned restaurant located in a small suburb of DC. Service is friendly and not over-burdening or pushy. The food is amazing! I've had the mussels, burrata caprese salad, arugula salad and my husband has had the frutti di mare and the veal chop they are famous for. All amazing! And the prices are reasonable. It's quiet and not too fancy. Definitely not for kids though....

I had asked for champagne to be at the table as a surprise for my husbands birthday dinner. We have young kids with medical issues so we rarely get out alone so this dinner was a complete surprise for him.
