My fiance bought my engagement ring on July 8, 2006. It was beautiful. By Monday, the first diamond fell out. By Wednesday the second. I was absolutely devastated. And he was mad. My ring has a center stone (princess cut) and then little diamonds surrounding it. The little stones are the ones that keep falling off.

I can say that diamonds can just fall out if the company Zales purchased the ring from did a crappy job. When I worked there there were times I would put a brand new bracelet into the ultrasonic and the diamond would fall out sometimes they were small and sometimes they were bigger.
As for the repair it was within 30 days and even without the warranty they should have fixed it correctly, no...
