I was captivated by the friendly staff and generous portions of delicious
food. Being a cheese fry fan, theirs are the BEST!!! I reccomend all
my friends to try this place at least once, and to order the cheese fry
appetizer. I go there almost on a weekly basis and always have my favorite
appetizer. The atmosphere of this place is great to, a down to earth,
miner- woodsy kind of feel to it....

This is a good place to eat steak. Casual atmosphere and dress.

The service can be drastically different from one visit to the
next. I prefer it over Lonestar and there is usually less of a wait.

Now the food was pretty good, but the service was really bad. And
ya know when you have bad service it kind of leaves a bad taste in
your mouth, so then it makes the food taste bad. But I know it was
not. Great steaks and yummy cheese fries. Lone Star's is better
though...

I do not agree that this is a fast food place. It is a sit down steak
and potato place. They serve a 46oz steak and if you can eat the
whole thing in one setting they put your picture on the wall (I
saw a picture of a Rottweiler hanging up) Try the crab dip appetizer
it's my favorite. Very generous portions, go hungry.

The food was good even though a little high priced. I had eaten there before and the bread appetizers had previously had more variety and were much better tasting.

What really made the visit unpleasant was the way the manager (I'm guessing from the way the individual was dressed and the way I heard her talking a staff member). I had been observing what I thought was attentive service by a number of servers. The manager came out and was very unpleasant to one of the staff that I had observed actually doing their job and doing it well. It definitely put a damper on the experience. It...
