Yuan Fu Vegetarian

Converts report they went in "skeptical" and "came out a true believer" thanks to an "incredible menu" of "mock meats" that'll make "you wonder ‘how'd they do it?'" at this reasonably priced Chinese vegan haven in Rockville; it "doesn't look like much from the outside", and inside it's "tight quarters", but the "warm" service has habitués feeling "like family."

Yuan Fu Vegetarian, located conveniently on the Rockville Pike, is one of the best locations in town for vegetarian and vegan food. Yuan Fu boasts a wide menu that features traditional Chinese favorites with non-meat substitutes, such as Kung Po chicken with tofu, and a chef with over 30 years of vegetarian cooking experience. Traditional Chinese dishes with meat are also available on the menu.
