I've done business with Ronnie at Yorktown Transmissions for almost as long as they've been there.
They come well recommended by shops as Leggett and Jones, who keep both of our vehicles running well.
All auto shops occasionally get a technician whose work isn't tops. I know of a time that Ronnie tried to help such a person; he had to let the guy go, but included another days pay to help the poor guy who tried but couldn't do the work.
I'm guessing, but the person who left just one star surely got a less than best technician; and I'm sure that he wasn't charged any extra. He probably is a "hard-to-please" person. But, thankfully, there still are more good people than the other kind.
