Room was very disappointing. It was a King room called "Executive King", but there was nothing special about it. I booked a Queen suite - with 2 queen beds and didn't get that. I was told that Expedia booked the King Executive room for me - but upon checking with them - they denied that. VERY disappointing! Awesome breakfast, nice place to stay. Only wish they woud have not gave us handicap accesible. We would have rather had a normal room with a good shower that drained faster.

The advertisement photo suggests that the hotel is looking east and backs to the west toward the mountains. Beware! This photo advertisement is incorrect. The hotel actually faces north and south and is located across the street from the mountains. In fact you can't really see the mountains from the hotel unless you go out and look to the west. Hampton Inn & Suites Colorado Springs/Air Force Academy is a great choice for a stay in Colorado Springs. You can get a morning swim in at the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Nice touches like pillowtop beds with premium linens and pillow menus are offered up in all rooms.
