My wife, granddaughter (age 2), and I paid a visit to the Yorktown Pub recently for dinner. My wife and I ordered the Fried Shrimp dinner and we ordered the chicken sandwich for our grandbaby. We ended up sharing our dinners with her instead. We were very disappointed with the chicken sandwich (same as McDonalds, but triple the cost). The cole slaw was lacking something. The fried shrimp was very good and perfectly cooked. However, the cost of the meals (15.95 for each Shrimp platter, 6.95 for the chicken sandwich) was high. Must've been because of the view, which was nice, in the daytme. After sunset, it was "ho-hum." I don't think we'll be going back anytime soon. BTW, they do accept credit cards (MC/Visa).

The view is great, but the atmosphere and food leave room for improvement. The sandwhich I ordered was dripping with mayo and soggy. The room was too smoky and stuffy. I think there are better choices in the area.

If your looking for good Pub Grub this is the place. Reasonly priced, cold beer , and a great view. Cozy little pub with a very friendly staff

Kids not welcome

$3.75 for 10oz glass of milk, more expensive then a Carona, $3.63. To me this clearly states your kids are not welcome here then expensive prices and food for kids.

We did a quick dinner and ordered the specials. I had the Fish and Chips with the fish of the day, mahi-mahi, and it was great. My husband ordered the fried clams and said that he'd order them again. The French fries, however, seemed to be the kind you buy in the grocery store and they could have improved on...

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch of Crab Cakes, Fish Tacos, and Fried Shrimp at the Yorktown Pub. Outstanding food which is hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. Crystal, our wait person, was professional, patient, personable, courteous, and provided excellent service! We live in Williamsburg and eat at the Yorktown Pub at least once a month. This is always...

The Yorktown pub is one of our must stops every time we are staying in Williamsburg. The did is c excellent abs the portions never scimp. The fried oysters were delicious and the nachos leafed up. I enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger with onions. Always a perfect place to find yourself "back in time".

Business description (2)

Cozy and comfortable, Yorktown Pub has a lot to offer visitors as well as its loyal, regular patrons. The food is plentiful, reasonably priced and fresh - especially the seafood specials. There are lovely views of the river, making it a delightful place to get down with the locals, knock back a beer or three and enjoy the pretty Williamsburg scenery. Smoking is permitted at the adjoining bar,...

The Yorktown Pub is a fun, friendly and comfy place for people of all ages. Tables in front offer a view of the York River. Specialties include Pub Burgers and prime-rib sandwiches. A good assortment of golden brew is available. Seafood entrees include fried shrimp and scallop dinners and combination platters. Live entertainment most weekends.
