Keeping it in perspective, it's a great place for the area it serves. It's not like the Brentwood Y, because this is not Brentwood. It's all about money nowadays. It's not about Christian altruism. But, it's fine for a workout, I don't need the bells and whistles to get a workout!

Each YMCA reflects the community it's in, offering differing services based on the area. Most include fitness areas with aerobic equipment, classes and racquetball and tennis courts. Many also have day care and after-school programs, as well as summer day camps.

This Y is good for the after work crowd, but don't expect a ton. The machines are all what you'd expect, good but not the best. The gym is small so don't expect any great level of pick up games, expecially since the club that opened up down...
