Went in to try the BBQ. A 4 oz. pulled pork sandwich cost close to $8. I ordered it anyway. It wasn't worth $1, it was covered in a mustard based sauce and had no smoke flavor. I guess you have to go to 10 BBQ joints to find 1 good one. I gave it 2 stars because the staff were friendly.

This is a nice neighborhood restaurant where people get together after work. The meals are homemade and the potatoes are not instant. they are real. My favorite iis the pork chops when they have them and they make very good cabbage. Drinks are reasonable. Staff is very friendly.

Home Cooking. Pleasent Mom N Pop style resturant with a taste of homestyle cooking. Classic friendly service, a rare item these days. Friendly owners that takes the time to know you and really care how one feels concerning the meal. Tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and I found this to be consistent.

No question about it, Yesterday's is in a dodgy neighbourhood. However, sometimes you need to travel outside your comfort zone in order not to miss something. Not surprisingly, the decor of Yesterday's is all geared to nostalgia of the 1930s or 1940s like the old-timey petrol pump. Even I wasn't too sure of this place based on the neighbourhood, but...

After eating here 5 times ive come to the conclusion this is a restaurnate for the older crowd. And when i say older i mean senior citizens...
