We attended the New Year's Eve party at Capitale with a group of 6 and were excited for the huge party and ponied up a considerable sum for it, looking forward to the "top shelf" drinks, "sick beats", and "white glove affair". We were to be disappointed in all of these respects.

Attended a wedding here. I can't imagine a more majestic indoor setting for a wedding. This building was completed in 1895 as the main branch of the Bowery Savings Bank. A MUST for a business event

This place is a gorgeous venue for a cocktail party and dinner. I went to an awards dinner there recently. With its unbelievably high ceilings and great architectural detail, this place is a stunner. It used to be a bank, I think, and is a wonderful example of re-purposed space. It has that nowhere-but-in-NYC feel to it.
