I didn't expect much when my boyfriend and I visited the Wright Brothers National Memorial at the start of our cross-country road trip this summer (check out our trip blog, ""A Mini & A Map""), but I was very pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the memorial is. It's more than a memorial -- there's a monument, but there are also museums, displays, a gift shop, picnic areas, and a really great sculpture.
