I live in Greensboro NC and just can't find a store like this at home. I own a summer home on the beach and when I'm here I have to go by the hardware store. I've been doing
business with Williams Hardware for 15 years. They have the most product selection and great customer service.
I'm always treated with curtsy.

Everytime I go in this store I feel very welcomed. Especially with being a female. They treat me like I know what I am talking about rather than making me feel clueless like I am. They are an awesome hardware store.

A particular gentleman who was assigned to the paint department asked me if he could help. I gave him a paint color that I wanted, and he took it to the back workshop to mix it for me. While I was waiting on the paint I walked several laps around the store. On about my second lap, near the door to the back workshop, (I was looking at pet supplies) I overhead the same gentleman telling another employee "" did you see that young girl out there? She has picked out the uglyist paint color in the whole damn store. She must be colorblind or something."" I couldn't believe what I was...
