This is an all-natural, organic grocery store that has been the leader in local, sustainable agriculture since before it was trendy. They also have a café that is very good. If you're vegetarian or vegan, you'll be very happy here. Even if you like meat, you'll still be happy here (but you won't find meat). I highly recommend the Rainbow...

The grocery store is small and I was a little put-off by the way it looked upon walking in the store. But I progressed on as my curiosity had gotten the better of me (plus I drove there on my lunch hour) Which took about 25 minutes...one way.
I went to the hot food section first because I was starving....

I've been shopping at Whole Earth Center for 15 years. It was a great place to take a young child growing up in a natural foods home--vegetarian deli items and bakery products always list all ingredients so parents can make informed choices for their kids.
Doing all of my food shopping here would be beyond my budget, but for specialty...
