This golf course features large greens elevated above the fairways, small natural hills and deep traps in the classic Florida style. This 1947 Dick Wilson creation has also hosted Professional Golfers Association events in the past. It is an interesting layout that starts with two short par-5s and each nine holds one long par-4.

The West Palm Beach Golf Course features an 18-hole, par 71 championship Dick Wilson original designed course reaching 7002 ...yards and having 5 sets of tees. Rolling terrain, elevated greens and tees, a magnificent variety of native vegetation, palm, pine and oak trees distinguish this public course from others in the county. Great layout. Staff is friendly and professional. We were able to make tee times 1 week ahead of planned visit. Reasonably priced. Course condition was average. We had a twosome and they paired us with great guys. Really enjoyed the experience.

Surprised that this course was in such poor condition. The sand off fairways and in some fairways was most difficult to hit out of. Way tot much sand. Fairways need water.

While the layout is fine, the course conditions were terrible. Mostly bare fairways that seemed not to have been watered in a long time.
