Help us make it rightThe repair man showed up at 5:20 minutes late after telling me to be home between 2 and 5:00 pm. After, I swear, like 30 seconds he told me it would be $220 plus tax to fix our oven. I did not want to fix it and he said the service charge was $62! For 30 seconds??? I asked if that could be applied towards the $220 should we deceide to fix it. Of course not. [My husband was not advised of this service charge when he call them this moring.] So, I had him go ahead and fix it. I glanced at the clock. It took him less than 20 minutes to fix, he put in one small part (ignitor). The total was $240.41. I deliver primary care in Nashville. Someone could come to me, and I would spend more time with them and charge less than half this!!!
We have been trying to get an icemaker repaired since 4/25.Still not finished.First it was parts,then the repairman does not show for his appt 5/15.Latest is he will be here tomorrow(5/16).
I had called them for help with my dryer. After about 15 minutes the guy said that he was going to order me a part and we would get it 2 days later and it would be around $200. A week goes by and the people finally show up. After another 15 minutes the guy says there is nothing he can do to fix it. After he left I took the dryer apart and noticed that a wheel for the drum was laying on the base of the machine. I put it back on and it was fixed. For a Family run operation, they are really lacking in values.
On 6/21/06 a refrigerator repair person from Watkins Appliance "repaired" my refrigerator by replacing the fan motor. Later that day, I noticed that the top portion of the refrigerator was dethawing and the bottom was freezing and bursting everything in the bottom of my refrigerator including cold drinks, water, etc. The next day and everyday thru 06/27/06 I called Watkins back to inform them...
My husband called the company to have our refrigerator repaired. He made an appointment with them to come to our house on a scheduled date. The day the tech, named Heath, showed up at our house, he did not stop talking on the cell phone to introduce himself.
