This is the best food In Homer. Just a short distance east from the Spit, it brings quality Alaskan/ Asian cuisine. The bar makes quality cocktails and the service is professional and friendly. We went there twice, both times excellent. The Cajun seafood pasta was...loaded with shrimp, clams and mussels. The ribs with mac and cheese were terrific. Went home with leftovers .Very recommended!

The Wasabi sushi was delicious. You need a reservation unless you want to sit at the bar or the sushi bar. I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed the discussion among the staff about the different types of sushi. I had the “Wasabi” sushi...with spicy salmon, avocado and cucumber. It was very good.

Charming Location - Understaffed, Long Wait for Meal that Never Came

We thought it sounded fun. Sushi in Homer Alaska. We made a reservation. It took about five minutes to get seated and the restaurant was on about 2/3 full. That should have been the first hint.

Second hint - sushi wait was an hour because...of only one sushi chef and a trainee. Sushi was out but regular menu was a shorter wait - not specified.

Should not be serving Sushi, i am honestly very disappointed, thought eating sushi in Alaska would be fresh and full of flavor, but could not even eat it, we paid for it even so we hardly touched...
