We stayed here just one night. It is closely located to 'downtown' walpole, the inn itself is very charming, clean, nicely decorated, newly painted, the rooms were on the smaller side. New restaurant: warm and tasty!. I have tried most of the dishes on the menu. Frankly, I recommend them all. on August 30, I ordered the evening's special: Shepard's Pie. The evening was cool, hinting of fall. The Shepard's Pie was filled with good lamb, diced vegetables topped with mashed potatoes with a light crust of cheese. It presented well and every bite was delicious.
