we had some time to kill before a late flight so went here we really weren't looking at spending a lot of time here but it was interesting seeing some of the experimental weapons that were produced. also the rose garden was very nice and was a nice counterpoint to the WAR museum

This museum has a great collection of weapons, uniforms and other military memorabilia dating back to the American Revolution. Included too was weaponry from both our allies and our enemies. A very interesting display regarding Adolph Hitler was also included. Very worthwhile for anyone interested in the history of war!
Tons of artifacts and history packed into relatively small building. Tour is chronological mostly focusing on naval warfare initially. There are lots of displays of firearms from various eras. Huge hallway with just WWII memorabilia including Nazi and Russian artifacts. Large room with heavy arms and mechanized weapons. Would highly recommend for anyone!
If your in the area, this is a place to go that is awesome ! Has tanks & big guns outside in a park area. The inside spans from the revolutionary war to modern day ! I have never seen so many guns & swords in one place!
