Don't waste your tine

We tried this restaurant on the way to visit family. The restaurant is bright and cheerful and the service was pleasant but the food was truly mediocre at best. Who serves a pork chop 1/4 inch thick? The other portions were generous but when the food doesn't taste good it doesn't matter. The item that came closest to being good...

Not what we expected

Stopped in for lunch. Our server was great! Very attentive and friendly. The food however, was not what we expected. The barbeque was not very good and the world famous slaw was not good. Most slaws have a sweet taste this did not. I'm sure others will like it, we did not. The potato chips that came with our meal...

We had the buffet. Fried chicken was ok. Catfish didn't have any flavor. Pasta salad was ok. Creamed beets were good. Sweet potato casserole was good. Banana pudding was really good! If your driving by and hungry, stop but don't expect anything great. Just average.

All you can eat...

The peanut soup is amazing. The peanut pie is fabulous.
And all my childhood memories come flooding back when I get the chance to come again.
Come eat. Virginia...
