Help us make it rightI came into see Dr. Colon (apparently new to the practice) after my cat ate some poison. I was frantic and worried out of my mind but Dr. Colon reassured me that everything would be fine. She carefully explained what she was planning to do to treat the poisoning as well as the long term followup (meds for 4 weeks) and answered each of my questions patiently. She and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and caring. Not only did they clear the schedule for my emergency and treat my cat quickly, they made the entire experience tolerable without costing me an arm and a leg. I plan on...
I think some of the critics went a lil over board, I found the office experiance to be ok. My dog needed help and that was my main goal. I am not looking to become best friends with the doc! He was nice enough tand the front desk lady was great!
Pros
+ conveinant, close to home
Dr. Katrowitz is the nicest vet I have ever been to. I absolutely disagree with the other two reviews -- to the point where I can only assume they went to a different vet than I. He loves animals, and was cuddling and kissing my dogs through the entire visit. My dogs absolutely adores him. As for value, he is honest and fair, and is more likely to tell you there is absolutely nothing wrong with your dog (rather than over prescribing and therefore overcharging!) He even let me bring both dogs in one time, and only charged me for one visit. The man is amazing. Your pet will love him!

It's funny because on the surface, this looks like a great vet. The staff are friendly and the walls are plastered with pictures of presumably happy pets. The thing is, he doesn't really listen. He won’t give me a prescription for the fo...
