Elegant setting and delicious food. My date and I shared the tasting menu. It's a great way to sample the menu. The food here is amazing. Everything is fresh and beautifully presented. The kitchen pays attention to every detail. Great flavors.
"Southern roots" sprout "undeniably cosmopolitan" blossoms on the "inspired" New American menu at this fine-dining "favorite" in White House/World Bank, where the "impeccable" staff makes each meal "an event in itself"; hidden underground, the "comfortably" "elegant" setting is "just right" for "intimate moments" and "special events", with "witty" cocktails and happy-hour specials in the...
With owner Jeffrey Buben once again overseeing the workings of the kitchen, Vidalia is restored to its former Southern-style glamour and its retro, somewhat Southern setting---to say nothing of its solid yet somewhat experimental Southern cooking. Interesting updates on Southern US Cuisine. Tastes exceptional, presentation good, service excellent, and wine list solid. Had the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Outstanding experience! Exceptional restaurant. Run don't walk! It's wonderful!
Ate there this evening. The food was good, not great, the service was good. Very nice wine list, good selection & reasonable prices.
This was our second time at Vidalia's after a superb initial experience, and having high expectations, we were again rewarded with a very special meal offering great variety and taste in every bite.
