Mike and Karen Duke have been in the fireplace and chimney industry since 1979. Working in historic homes in Richmond, Virginia they have developed a product line offered in the store that specifically targets homes built between 1880 and 1930, although the store also offers a selection of standard size fireplaces as well.

Victorian Fireplace Shop helped me with the renovation of all 6 fireplaces in my Georgian home. Everything turned out just gorgeous. VERY HAPPY!

They do not, as they claim on their website, answer the telephone. I have been calling them for two weeks and get nothing but a recorded message. Their voice mail box is full. I think they're a sham.

For some reason, I can't reach the people at this shop. I have a Victorian house with a chimney that's collapsed on the inside, so we can't have any kind of fireplace except an electric one. Emails and phone calls don't seem to work. I would like to find another vendor, if they're no longer open.

I got an electric log insert that was fine for almost a year. When it failed to work, these folks did not even bother to return my calls!! Not impressed!
