My friends in Waxhaw, NC (union county) rescued a sweet American Bulldog and due to the laws, had to place her in lockup at the local pound overnight. They did this with every intention of adopting her as quickly as possible. They were informed by a Lt. Lynn that because she's a bulldog, she is automatically going to be killed.
