Help us make it rightBeen to the original Starbucks, but it can't touch Tuscany's!
Dear prometheamoth,
First of all, it is quite obvious that you have no hobbies nor any intrest in taking care of your children, because everytime I turn around I hear about your "reviews". What you failed to mention in those reviews was how rude you were. Like the time you came through the drivethru and used FOUL, disrespectful, un-motherly like language to the owners daughter!! Ohhh you forgot that didnt you?! Hmm yeah thought so!! Also, if your son was terribly ill, WHY would you, (a 40 year old mother of 2 who is SO mature) bring your sick, runny nose, contagious kid to a public place!?? EEWWWWW!!!! Your reviews arent about Tuscany's Coffee House, they are about my cousin (the barista/owners daughter as you call her)!! If you were such a "regular" as you say, then you would know her name!! Going somewhere once a week, and spending 50.00, while being rude and harassing people about a highchair, doesnt qualify you as a regular. The girls that run the coffee house are AWESOME!!! I go there EVERYDAY, and see the interaction the girls have with their REGULAR customers. It is quite obvious that there was nothing anyone could have done to make you happy. You were told numerous times there would be no highchairs bought for the coffee house, yet you wanted to still complain. Like I previously said, there was nothing that could have been done to make you happy!!! Maybe you should spend more of your time googling different hobbies, and less time making FALSE, RUDE statements about my cousin!!!
Tuscanys is an AWESOME place to go!! They have great food and WONDERFUL customer service!! The facility is clean and very well kept!!
Tuscany's has the best coffee, atmosphere, food and staff. I am a loyal customer who believes they go out of their way to make it not only a most pleasant experience, but also is friendly and accommodating! If you haven't tried it yet, you should, because it will become your favorite spot too!
I suggested they add high chairs and a changing table and was laughed at by the owners' daughter/barista, who told us that "her regular customers" did not want children there. (Ummm, having spent over $50 a week there, EVERY SINGLE WEEK, for six months, bringing my children for lunches, I *thought * I was a regular...guess not.)
When I tried to contact the owners about the horrible customer service, I was stonewalled by their unprofessional daughter/barista. Never did get a business card or contact info for them from her, despite a couple of requests.
On different occasions, two different employees pinched my baby's cheeks, picked up his utensils, or grabbed his hands. We told each employee that they should probably go wash their hands before going back to work, since our son had been terribly ill, and had an obviously snotty nose NEITHER ONE DID. Eeeew.
We are HUGE proponents of local businesses, but we get our coffee from Starbucks now. They don't mind our kids, the baristas are actually NICE! and they appreciate "regulars."
How can you beat Tuscany's?
Some folks on here are haters I see, but I've never had a bad experience. On the other hand, I've had tons of good ones!
I come to Tuscanys with a group of my Military girlfriends once a week after dropping our kids off at school in Yorktown." Eventhough I love my kids, I feel like Tuscany's is a getaway for me and my girlfriends!! "Kid Free" is the key! This coffee house makes me feel at home and I dont have to clean up the mess ( which is nice). Why come to a getaway spot with extra baggage?! Haha actually...
Tuscanys has had a huge impact in the community!! It is more than a coffee house for most people...I can say That I dont personally know these people, but I have family of mine that does just from coming into the coffee shop. They are genuine and will try there best to make you experience the best possible.
Nice staff, fine items to consume, but whoever designed the place doesn't seem to realize that a coffee house is supposed to be homey ... not luxurious. How can you relax when everything is so pristine, fully fluffed, and high off the ground? Where's the dusty bookshelves? The used couches? The true bohemian flavor instead of something that was ordered out of Bed Bath and Beyond? Who are...
Dear Lady with suggestions and the "quiet" kids..... First of all let me start off by saying Tuscany's coffee is WAY better than Starbucks... You are paying for a name on a cup not a strong cup of coffee... Second of all if you have to say like 5 times that your kids are quiet then they probably ARE NOT!!!! Its a coffee shop NOT a freaking Chuckie Cheese!!! I have seen children in here numerous...
