Help us make it rightI use this tanning method because I work long days. The beds are clean and the tan I receive is superb. The reason Tropics is best for me is the friendly staff and no appointments necessary - I never know my schedule and they are open weekends and evenings too! I have friends that have tried the other local places and they prefer Tropics too!
There are some downsides:
I am disappointed, that you really don't get anything for buying unlimited tanning. All the other places I went and paid for unlimited tanning gave me coupons for half off a lotion, good discounts on products, freebie cards for one free tan to give to my friends, and/or a free trial tan in higher level beds. (One place even gave me a tee-shirt.) I definitely think Tropics needs to do something like that. I also think that they're kind of pricey compared to other places I have been. (Especially since their discounts aren't great: only 10% for students and...
I really like tropics over other salons because its chill. Everytime i go the beds are great and they dont bother me with selling products or ask me what i am using. i just go in pay and tan and leave. its simple. i have been to some where their were very annoying.
I went in and I wanted a level 4. They said ""Oh you don't want that, even I burn in a level 4.."" I paid too much and went in and the room door wouldnt shut. I didnt even tan a little from the highest level (4). There were bulbs lit but they were old or something. Don't go there.

Just visited the tanning salon today. They have 4 levels of tanning. After paying $14.00 to upgrade to a level 4, I turned off the bed and requested by money back, because there was 6 lamps out on 1 bed. They did not give me my money back. Said they were sorry, they didn't know the bulbs were out. What kind of business does not care about customer satisfaction?
