Attempted to get a state inspection today because the dealership I usually take it to closed their service center for inventory. I called first to inquiry about the wait and was told there were 2 vehicles ahead of mine. Arrived 15 minutes later and was told by Bob, and not the person I spoke on the phone to earlier that it could be a while. Asked how long and he said could not be sure because there was only 1 inspector on site and if the vehicle needed repairs then it could be longer. I left, went to 3 other stations all with the same status, a long wait because it was the first day of the month. Came back to this store, decided to wait and gave my information, which I had to repeat twice since Bob was hard of hearing. Again I asked how long and Bob said a while. I asked before 6 pm? And her said we close at 6 so yeah. So I sat and began this comment. As I was sitting in the waiting area I could hear profanity coming from the service bay area. I have been sitting since 930 am and my vehicle has not moved. will write again in an hour if nothing happens. There is nothing wrong with the vehicle that I am aware of that should keep it from passing inspection but I have a strong feeling these crooks will try some shaddy sh-t!
