What the community has to say about Toys In Babeland

Information about this business (1)

Claire Cavanah and Rachel Venning opened the first Babeland store in 1993 in response to the lack of women-friendly sex shops in Seattle. The store offered top quality products, a pleasant place to shop, and most of all information and encouragement to women who wanted to explore their sexuality. The store's popularity with both women and men has led to three more stores in New York, plus a...

On the heels of the original Toys in Babeland's success came this SoHo outpost, a large store with a fairly decent selection of merchandise as well as regularly-scheduled sex workshops. Somehow it has never had the feel or verve of the original store, but that's more likely to do with its SoHo location than anything else. Wow - this store is so amazing. The staff is super friendly and answered all of my questions without making me feel silly for asking. The products were really cool - they had something for everyone. I can't wait to go back! It's the best sex toy store in NYC!

One of the first sex toy shops in New York. They have a lot of various sex toys, paraphanelia and anything else you can think of associated with S-E-X. The staff is very knowledgeable and are more than willing to help you find whatever you need. If you look in Bust magazine they sometimes offer discounts for the Toys in Babeland shop.
