Tope La Catering

We talked about going to Tope La for months before we actually went...now I am sad I waited! It was amazing! The bayou dip, the Cajun tenderloin. Wow!! Service was great too, I think our server was named Sarah. Anyway, very impressed and will definitely return!!!

Overpriced for the quality. Tuna tataki wasn't fresh and had a real fishy taste. Salad was average. Service was slow and inattentive, considering we we're the only table. As I type this, I'm still waiting for my water to get a refill and it's been 15 minutes since i've seen the waitress. Steak was cooked right at least. Crab pasta had some shell, but not much.

Very good, but.... We go here often. Or, at least we did. Food is generally very good; and is often great. Service can sometimes be hit or miss, but the food usually makes up for it. But the last time we went things went badly. It started by my ordering one of the specials listed on the white board at the front door. When my order was brought out it did not include some of the sides listed on...

The service was really good the place is classy, that is about the best I can say about it. However, the food was not good. I had the Ahi Tuna special served over noodles, it was totally over cooked and had a weird taste to it. so, I returned. They still charged me for that nasty dish. I was not the only one who did not like the food. My co-worker had the Jambalaya and that was not Jambalaya.....

We love Tope La. They are always consistent & their staff is great. You can't beat their lunch menu available until 4pm. My favorite is the artichoke cakes topped with a shrimp sauce. Reasonable for what you get & like my title says, Delicious!
