Usually this place has great salads -- great as in "fresh.' However, on October 14, 2014 this wasn't the case at all. I ordered my usual chef salad but the chicken tasted old and rubbery; clearly NOT fresh. I will wait awhile before returning back to this place. Maybe it was just a bad day.....nonetheless, very disappointing.

Their deli meat is fresh and they certainly put a lot on their sandwiches. I love getting a turkey sandwich since it is carved fresh off the bird.

Great little cafe in downtown Silver Spring. They offer a choice of tasty and healthy sandwiches, wraps and salads... much better than the other sandwich options in the area. I always go their for their wraps, as the bread and other ingredients are so fresh. They often have fresh roasted turkey, ham and beef. Conveniently located right by the Silver Spring Metro stop (right next to the NOAA buildings), this is a really reasonably priced, cozy restaurant. Their menu is a bit limited (regular deli-type items), and their hours are pretty short, but if you can catch it while they're open, it's great food. 'Tis Cafe is conveniently located less than a block from the Silver Spring Metro station (left out of the Metro on East-West, away from Colesville Rd). They just opened, but thank goodness they did!
