Dr. Regan is thorough in his explanations of the surgery, focusing on the spouse as well as the patient. Fracture if base of 5th metatarsal. He said displaced would heal fine. Put me in men's boot even though i am a woman. Seemed way too big. Pain when weight bearing. 4 weeks later he put me back to work, i drive and walk. Then stress fracture 4th metatarsal. Out of work again 3 weeks. Back to work. 7 months now, new doctor.
