Rude, drunk, loud, frat party atmosphere. Staff seems indifferent to customers and the manager was noticeably rude to several customers. We had two drinks back at the end of the summer: a Mai Tai and some orange concoction. Both were incredibly sweet - they'd make great hummingbird food but they'd send most humans into diabetic shock. this is a great place to go get drunk. They have sand all over so if you fall down from being too drunk you won't get hurt.
The bar is pet friendly. This comes in handy when you pas out from being to drunk. Your dog can lick you on the face to wake you up.
It's a neat location on the backside of Solomon's Island. We went there towards the end of the summer a couple of times. It wasn't packed like it can be, but it was a lot of fun. Great place to hand out and people watch in the early evening. Prices are decent and service is pretty good.
Opening day party is something you should attend at least once. The whole town partakes in the opening day celebration.
Although it is a fun hot spot throughout the summer, the Tiki Bar's heyday comes in April, at its springtime grand opening.
