In 2013 Mark Hackathorn was sick with cancer. He died in 2014. I had experience with Tidewater Canine when he was alive and well, and it was an excellent resource. Mr. Hackathorn was a wonderful, experienced and competent trainer and he gave quality services. I'm so sorry he is gone.

Unprofessional, people. I would never bring my dog back there for shelter (went on a business trip). Their prices are the lowest in the Tidewater area for a reason. I would rather PAY MORE and get the BEST service than pay less and bring my dog back home traumatized. He did not eat for two weeks, he did not run to me when I picked him up from there (as he always does when he sees me) and all...

Friendly staff....very helpful and knowledgeable. Facility is very clean. I use this kennel regularly. They also train dogs and have a great groomer. My dog improved so much after training. He now has manners and is a gentleman! I love the TLC and outside playtime!!! Definitely recommended.
