I found Thomas E Clark air conditioning online. They had a slogan saying they treated all their customers like a friend. I gave them a shot and had them come out and fix my AC. I have to say they lived up to it. They were very friendly and explained exactly what was wrong. They gave me quote before starting any work and had the work done the same day. 5 stars from me.
Technician came out on Saturday $104 "trip charge". Problem was bad thermocouple on boiler ($15 part). They wanted $275 to replace. It took about 5 mins. When I questioned they agreed to charge "only" $200 + $104 trip charge. Owner said this was due to the expertise and the skill to diagnose the problem. By my calculation this technician's company made about $3190/hour on this job. Not too...

Do not use these people! I'm a Do-It-Yourself guy and opened and examined my AC unit before contacting these people. I specifically looked for shorted wires, cracks, bad capacitor, etc (all things you can google and find easy instructions on repair). They sent me to pull the air filter and turn on the unit. I come back, and they show me a hissing "leak" with shiny copper exposed that somehow...

T.E.C. air conditioning and plumbing is a good contractor! We had a/c troubles a short while ago and would need a replacement compressor. The specialist was in fact very professional & actually arrived on time which was a bonus. The prices seemed to be low as compared to other contractor's. I would recommend this provider to everybody.
