My wife and I came here for our anniversary. The attention to detail is unmatched and we love the innkeepers. Everything from the breakfast to the farm animals make this BNB unique. There is a pool, walking trails and so much to see and do in the local area. They also made great restaurant recommendations.

You can find this great inn through the winding lanes of Greene County (and boy do they wind!). Janet cooks such sumptuous breakfasts that lunch is completely otiose. The rooms are large and comfortable with the softest sheets you could sleep in. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the terrace are stunning. Get the picture!

My husband and I just spent 3 lovely days at the Inn. We went on Trip Advisor's many recommendations, which are completely deserved. Beautiful spacious and comfy room (Redbud); huge yummy breakfast; lovely Port and chocolates at night; and especially the peace and quiet. The William Cox in is a beautifully kept historic building with tons of character and room to breathe. The grounds are stunning and we loved wondering around meeting the dogs, goats and chickens. It was the goats/chicken directional sign off the big veranda that made me laugh. This delightful inn dates from the 18th century, but thankfully, there is a lovely, spacious new addition with beautifully appointed rooms and individual AC (important in Virginia in summer).
